Cheek Bone Reduction

Anyone with large prominent cheekbones (malar bones, zygoma bones) can reduce the cheek bone size and have better contoured cheekbones through this procedure. This can also be done to correct some unevenness from one side to the other. A small incision is placed about one inch long inside the mouth and a space is made up and over the bones to be reduced. The excess cheekbone is reduced by grinding this down or making cuts in the bone and removing enlarged pieces. This results in a beautiful, balanced and proportioned width of the upper face compared to the middle and lower part of the face and more rounded straight contour to the face with less prominent cheekbones.
